[Implemented] Adding More Sub-Forums - Too Many?

Postby Admin » Wed Oct 24, 2012 4:33 pm

These are the sub-forums being considered for addition:

Replica Showcase - Each member who wishes can post one thread with their replica progress...and all subsequent updates will be in the same thread, so if someone wants to follow the progress of a specific member, they can go to this one thread

Off-Topic - Self-explanatory

Merchandise - Discussions of Knight Rider related merchandise

Original Photos and Props - A place to ask questions specifically about the original props used in the series, or to post promo/behind the scenes photos

My question is this...would adding all 4 of these be TOO much? If you had to rank the above in terms of importance, how would that look?

This is a community....we want people's opinions! Thanks!

I don't think that adding all four would be too much. As far as order:

Replica Showcase

Merchandise

Original Photos and Props

Off-Topic

I agree with Pac-Man. I like the idea of having an original props and photos section, no other board has one. Merchandise is a must given the new things coming out from Diamond Select Toys, Mattel, and some other outlets that haven't announced yet.

I don't think it would be too much but I would put the importance to me in this order...

Replica Showcase

Off-Topic

Original Photos and Props

Merchandise

i guess i'm the odd man out....

i like only having a few sub-forums to click on a check out. i think most of that stuff could be general stuff, but i do like the idea of the replica showcase.

how much would "mercandise" really be used and i don't need to check on a specific "prop" forum for stuff.
When things do come up, just throw it in the mix.
you wanna post a photo of an ugly 3rd gen - fine.
You wanna post a photo of a new hot wheels - fine.
you wanna ask a question about the original pilot dash - fine.

The original section WILL BE A BLAST!! :) I'm good with General discussion, but a Replica Showcase to find all the vehicles easily should be GREAT! I'm on all the 4 options :)

All four sounds good. This is a fan site and conversion car board correct? The more we can cater to each section of the fandom, IMO, the better. For as fast as this is growing, it would make it easier so topics don't get lost in the shuffle. Ya know?

The off topic is least important to me, but the other three are all neck and neck with each other.

Actually, the merchandise thread cold be used for historical purposes as well. Like classic merchandise possibly?
