Kitt_me Replica

Postby kitt_me » Thu Jan 15, 2015 6:41 am

Hi Everyone

Been on many KR forums and I have finally decided to transform my 1982 Pontiac Trans AM into the most renowned car in history, Knight Industries Two thousand :) .I know many fellow members have done the same and enjoyed doing it, my story is no different. It wasn't a easy decision.Back in 2009 I started looking for a dream car, yes it took a while to get a proper car, so after searching and calling owners in USA, I finally found a solid 1982 Trans AM. It had few under carriage rust issues, it was resolved asap

Now the car

Yes i know i didn't have the correct rims at the time I bought but again the search was on for the right wheels

Well I guess the time has come for the conversion in 2015. Yes all the parts will be taken off for a complete professional paint job.

Excellent job. I can already see how nice this car is going to be.

I'll be watching this project closely. Once it's back in one piece all you're going to need to complete the conversion is the KR interior parts and dash electronics, right?

Keep up the progress and welcome to the Revolution.

I just love seeing these car move to KITT's deep deep gloss black! I cannot wait to get mine to that point. I just need to find the right painter that will give the project the respect that it deserves this time. Once bitten, twice shy for sure.
