New 2TV dashboard

Postby Knight Passions » Fri Jun 30, 2017 5:19 pm

I just started to create a brand new 2tv dashboard from scratch out of wood.
Most dashboards that are available on the market are not perfectly flat on the top side and also a little twisted during all those years.

To start all over again, everything can be corrected what's needed.

Today I just made the first beginning with it...

When the dashboard is finished, the whole creating process will be shown on my Knight Passions website.

Here are some new photos...

I copied the angles from the ventilation opening from the original dashpad and added them to the new wooden dash.

After that I did the same with the top side from the sides...

No problem!...I'm happy to show the progress here also!

Luckely it's only to create the dashboard to mold it later.
Once it's finished it will indeed be pretty heavy.

The wood is soft and easy to work with and it's not as heavy as it looks because of the thickness.

Yesterday I finished the ventilation opening at the top side...

It's now identical to the original dashpad.
